Private Chef – Full-Time (Long-Term Placement)

Location: Coral Gables, Miami, FL

Contract Term: 12 Months (Open to flexible structure)

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday (4–5 days/week)

Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 DOE (flex role structured separately)

Relocation/Travel: Relocation or commuting support available for the right candidate

Start: ASAP (flexible)


Overview

A private household in Coral Gables, Miami is seeking an experienced, long-term private chef to support daily family dining in a relaxed, informal service environment. This is a full-time placement focused on clean, healthy, high-quality food prepared with consistency, structure, and care. The role requires a chef who is highly organized, adaptable, and skilled in family-style service while maintaining elevated culinary standards.

Schedule & Meal Service

  • Sunday: Dinner service
  • Monday–Thursday: Lunch and dinner service
  • Snacks & Breakfast Items: Fresh, prepared items for refrigeration and daily use
  • Additional Service: Occasional Friday or Saturday evening meals as requested
  • School Break Coverage: Lunch and dinner service during school breaks on scheduled workdays
  • Entertaining: Guest meals and occasional hosting support
  • Travel: As requested


Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily family meals with a focus on clean, healthy, balanced cooking
  • Produce structured meals with consistent protein, vegetable, and carbohydrate components
  • Prepare fresh snacks and breakfast items for weekly refrigeration storage
  • Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and food systems
  • Manage grocery sourcing and ingredient quality
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and allergens
  • Support informal entertaining and guest dining
  • Organize and maintain refrigerator and pantry systems
  • Culinary Profile (if this feels too personal we can remove or edit)


Preferred Cuisines:

American, BBQ, California Coastal, Chinese, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese (including sushi), Mediterranean, Mexican, Spanish, Steakhouse, salads, sandwiches

Dietary & Nutrition Focus:

  • Dairy-free and vegan accommodations
  • Clean, health-forward cooking
  • Strong label reading and ingredient awareness
  • Balanced family meals (protein, veg, carb structure)


Allergen Awareness:

Dairy, tree nuts, soy

  • Prior private chef experience strongly preferred
