Location: Based in or willing to relocate to New York City

Compensation: $200,000–$250,000 DOE + Full Benefits Package


Job Description Chef and Corporate Flight Attendant (CFA) – Private Jet

A private UHNW client is seeking a skilled Chef and Corporate Flight Attendant (CFA) to join their private aviation team. This full-time, travel-intensive role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and hospitality, with a particular focus on culinary expertise, maintaining a safe Cabin environment, and personalized service.

The ideal candidate will have a refined presence, be adaptable to dynamic travel schedules, and bring a proactive, polished, and service-first mindset. Prior experience as a CFA is preferred, although not required, if the candidate brings significant experience in hospitality or private service combined with a strong culinary background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Execution & Meal Service
  • Prepare and serve high-end, multi-course meals with restaurant-quality plating in the sky
  • Source and provision ingredients globally based on guest preferences and dietary needs
  • Maintain impeccable galley standards, including sanitation and inventory
  • Comfort filleting, gutting, and scaling fish 
  • On certain trips, coordinate with chefs or catering teams for special menus and international provisioning
  • Note: Detailed dietary preferences will be shared once a candidate is selected for a trial and has completed a signed NDA


  • Cabin & Guest Experience
  • Deliver warm, anticipatory service tailored to the family’s preferences
  • Maintain a pristine cabin environment at all times (pre-, during, and post-flight)
  • Create a calming, discreet, and professional atmosphere onboard
  • Manage in-flight entertainment, amenities, and guest requests with discretion and speed
  • FAA standards to be met at All times on the aircraft 


  • Pre-/Post-Flight Duties
  • Prepare and stock the aircraft before departure and after landing for overnights or return to base
  • Ensure safety and sanitation regulations are upheld at all times
  • Coordinate with the flight crew and management to align on trip logistics
  • Responsible for all dishes, flatware, etc and to leave the kitchen and bathrooms clean
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, restock as needed, and track expiration dates
  • Responsible for all bedding and linens required for births.


  • Administrative & Logistical
  • Submit expense reports, provisioning documentation, and catering records
  • Manage global provisioning logistics when flying internationally
  • Stay up to date on crew protocols, FAA compliance, and emergency procedures


Requirements:

  • Heavy culinary background (restaurant, private chef, or catering experience ideal)
  • Prior corporate or commercial FA experience preferred, but negotiable
  • FAA-compliant safety training and valid crew badging credentials
  • Must be U.S.-based with a valid American passport
  • Willing to relocate to New York City or be NYC-based
  • Must pass a thorough background check, drug, and alcohol screening
  • Impeccable references and history of discretion with HNW or private clients


Travel & Scheduling:

  • Average 12–15 travel days per month
  • 40–45 annual trips, including business and day trips
  • 3-week annual aircraft maintenance period (typically downtime)
  • Must have schedule flexibility and 24/7 availability during active travel windows


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $200,000 – $250,000 DOE
